Information we access and collect
Some information is provided directly by you, some is created as you use Navarth, and some is accessed only after you grant an Android permission. The exact information depends on the features you choose.
Account and profile information
Your name, email address, phone number, account or user ID, login details, profile preferences, and account creation information. Passwords are processed by our authentication provider; we do not receive or store your password in readable form.
SMS and financial notifications
With your permission, Navarth reads SMS transaction alerts and supported payment-app notifications, including sender, message content, and time received, to identify expenses, income, balances, bills, and payment activity. Raw alerts are primarily parsed on your device. Structured transaction details and limited redacted diagnostic information may be stored or transmitted when you enable cloud features, use the assistant, or report a missed or incorrect transaction.
Contacts
With your permission, Navarth accesses contact names and phone numbers to identify person-to-person transactions, create split-expense records, and help you select people. We do not use your contacts for advertising. A selected or matched contact may appear in a transaction, split, correction, cloud backup, or assistant request.
Transactions and financial information
Transaction amounts, dates, merchants or people, categories, bank or UPI provider, masked account hints, balances, purchase history, income and expenses, budgets, bills, subscriptions, debts, goals, loan or advance requests, repayment status, and financial scores or insights generated by Navarth.
In-app chat and generated content
Messages you send to the Navarth assistant, relevant recent chat history, assistant replies, saved preferences or memories, and the financial context needed to answer your request. The assistant may receive relevant transaction, budget, bill, goal, subscription, and forecast information when you ask a related question.
App activity, diagnostics, and identifiers
App and device identifiers, operating system and device details, network information such as IP address, authentication and sync status, feature interaction and usage counts, correction feedback, AI usage, and technical logs needed to operate, secure, analyze, and improve Navarth.

We do not sell your personal or sensitive data, and we do not use SMS, contacts, financial data, or assistant chats for third-party advertising.
When information leaves your device
Navarth performs important parsing and analysis on your device. Information may be transmitted off your device when you create or sign in to an account, enable cloud backup or synchronization, submit transaction-correction feedback, use the AI assistant, request support, or use another network-based feature.
We may disclose information to service providers that process it for us, including Google Firebase for authentication and cloud database services, hosting and infrastructure providers, and AI model or gateway providers used to generate assistant responses. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services and are expected to protect it under their applicable agreements and privacy terms.
Your name or phone number may also be visible to people in a shared Navarth group or organization when that is necessary for the feature you choose. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or our services, or as part of a corporate transaction with appropriate notice and safeguards.
Your choices and permissions
SMS, contacts, and notification access require your permission. You can revoke these permissions in Android settings. You can also disable eligible cloud backup, stop using the assistant, or turn off assistant actions in Navarth. Revoking a permission stops future access but does not automatically delete information already stored in your Navarth account.
Navarth can still be used with manual transaction entry if you do not grant automatic-tracking permissions, although some features may be limited.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and cloud-synchronized information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Navarth, resolve disputes, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. Local records remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, uninstall the app, or use an available reset option. Provider-managed backups may follow the provider's own retention schedule.
You may request deletion of your Navarth account and associated eligible cloud data by emailing us from your registered address. We may ask you to verify your identity. Certain records may be retained where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal, regulatory, or legitimate business recordkeeping purposes; retained data remains protected and is not used for unrelated purposes.
Request account or data deletionSecurity
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted network transport, access controls, authentication, and limited access to production systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
Navarth is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Navarth, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the date above. If a change materially affects how we handle sensitive information, we will provide additional notice where required.
